Take a little break and get a little rest

There are some days you just wonder why. And all the wondering and overthinking make your head hurt. So on those days, I constantly need to remind myself to rest. I have no idea why I lost 6 websites to malware. I have no idea why I was stolen from in the form of identity theft. I have no idea why so-and-so doesn't like me. I have no idea why bad things happen to good people, but I know I have a choice. Recently on linked in, I posted a wonderful quote from Maya Angelou. It reads as follows: "If you don't like something change it. If you can't change it change your attitude. Take deliberate steps toward resting in the moment, cultivating forgiveness and developing a new attitude. Let go...Breathe deep, and choose to let it all go. Rest in the fact that, it all works together for your good. As I consider the above, the opposition, the loss, the forced rebrand make me stronger, smarter and better positioned for success. To every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. This is Newton's 3rd law of motion. It's a timeless scientific principle, intelligently designed to create order and restore balance.

Coaches Corner:

Today take some time to rest and ask yourself this question, what has been keeping you up at night or anxious through the day? What is the seemingly out of control situation that may be working for your good? Recall a time in the past when something didn't go your way, but it provided a new path to open that you were grateful for. Then, decide how can you be grateful in the present undesirable circumstance.
